Facebook PHP Source Code Leaked By Trae McNeely

There is a lot of buzz going on about how the source code of Facebook got leaked. First off I would like to say it technically did not get leaked since Facebook servers produced the PHP error code out into his browser window. So everyone saying it was leaked should rephrase that. But anyways!

Trae McNeely, a graduate of the University of Oklahoma is the one who everyone is talking about. Initial thoughts were saying that he worked for SlashGear as an author of their blog, but now says he’s the owner and operator of WMDTalk forums where the source code was posted.

Apparently he sent an email to Mashable saying it was him who posted it for educational reasons. Other sites like FacebookSecrets, a blog on blogspot has the actual code on their site (until it gets taken down by them or a higher authority)

Facebook is claims this to be illegal, but since he didn’t actually leak anything im siding with Trae on this one. Honestly, if Facebook decides to file lawsuit on this one, that would be completely ridiculous since its own servers produced that out put of code.
